Project Director in the redesign of a portable banking service device for the U.S.-Venezuelan company T&T International Group. The primary goal was to enhance the product’s appearance, making it more visually appealing without compromising its manufacturability or functionality. Ergonomic, economic, and structural aspects were optimized to ensure efficiency and ease of use.
Scopio is an electronic identification device designed for applications in banks, clinics, airports, and libraries. It features two cameras: a front-facing one for facial recognition and a horizontal one for scanning documents such as checks, identification cards, and larger formats (A4, letter, legal). Its compact and portable design allows seamless integration into various environments without affecting performance.
The device includes an intelligent card reader and a USB port for connecting biometric devices such as fingerprint scanners. This enables multiple authentication levels, increasing security and reliability in identification processes. Its adaptable technology ensures compatibility with different verification systems, offering flexibility to users.
Scopio is patented under U.S. law and is currently in production. Its development addresses the need for versatile and secure real-time identification solutions. With its innovative design and integration of biometric technologies, it positions itself as an efficient tool for multiple industries.
