The Brazilian Industrial Design Laboratory – LBDI was an important project experience, training, and reflection on the industrial design field. For a few years I was part of the team of this legendary in Florianopolis, south of Brazil, developing products directly for the industry sector.
I had the opportunity to share with designers from all over the world and to learn about many aspects related to the field and the discipline. I had the privilege to work under the guidance and direction of designers who are international references such as Gui Bonsiepe, Eduardo Barroso, Marcelo Resende, Celio Teodorico do Santos, Regina Alvarez, Federico Hess, and Jorge Gómez. In addition, I had the opportunity to work with hundreds of Latin American and European designers who passed through the Laboratory, which are now part of my network of contacts.
