Advisors, professors and students attended this presentation where the design concepts for the final thesis works had an important component of three-dimensional development.

My participations as Member of the Advisory Committee of the 8º BID Meeting on Teaching and Design organized by the Ibero-American Design Biennial. During the event and along with designers Lígia Lopes (School of Engineering of the University of Porto and University of Aveiro – Portugal), Charo Carril Vigil (Artediez Design School – Spain) we presented the Challenge 2019 – 2020: Design for all people / Design for the Elderly, a call to develop, during a year and between different educational institutions, professionals and students a proposal under criteria of inclusion, accessibility and interaction.

Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi visit
October, 2019
We had the opportunity to visit the Louvre Museum building in the city of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. A project by the French architect Jean Nouvel and inaugurated in 2017. A giant metal dome made of several layers of hexagonal and pentagonal patterns, on a body of multiple orthogonal volumes submerged in the sea.
Global Grad Show

Another participation of my students of the Master of Industrial Design of Pratt Institute in the Global Grad Show in Dubai. An event organized by the Design Museum in London and this edition under the curatorship of the British Eleanor Watson. On this occasion, the Thesis project by Ecuadorian designer Alejandro Moyano was selected among the 150 projects in 34 countries. “Interwoven is a family of objects designed for the Latin diaspora communities, aimed at addressing the trauma caused by the separation of undocumented families due to detention or deportation.”
